U.S. Sen. Mark Kirk, R-Ill., has been named an honorary member of the Pilot Club of Moline. Kirk was selected in recognition of his personal experience with the rehabilitation needs of stroke victims.

Pilot Club of Moline is associated with Pilot International, a world-wide community service organization dedicated to brain health and awareness. Kirk’s openness in sharing his post-stroke recovery and his first-hand knowledge of the time, effort and cost involved in stroke recovery led to the Pilot Club’s recognition.

Additional information on Pilot International or Pilot Club of Moline may be obtained from the Pilot Club of Moline president Marilyn Morley at 309-762-5103 or from the Pilot International website at pilotinternational.org.
