An evening of music, food and romance will be featured at the Quad-City Symphony Orchestra’s Valentine’s Gala at 5 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Hotel Blackhawk, 200 E. 3rd St., Davenport.

The evening includes beer and wine, appetizers and a silent auction before 6 p.m. dinner. At 7:30 p.m., the Quad-City Symphony Orchestra will perform symphonic dances from Bernstein and Tchaikovsky and swing-era favorites featuring performers from Five by Design at the Adler Theatre.

Proceeds will support the orchestra and provide music education.

A post-party at the Hotel Blackhawk will include more music from Five by Design for dancing, desserts and finale of the silent action that includes a three-night stay in New York with tickets to Broadway shows, a three-night stay in Napa Valley Wine Country, Italian dinner for 10 prepared by Conductor Mark Russell Smith, a weekend getaway to Galena in a car from Ron’s Toy Box, and jewelry from Necker’s Jewelers.
