A good Thursday morning to all. You’re waking up to 56 degrees and fair skies. The National Weather Service is forecasting scattered showers and thunderstorms after 10 a.m. Otherwise the day will be partly sunny with a high near 68 degrees. South winds could produce gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tonight brings a slight chance of showers before 1 a.m. The overnight low will be in the upper 30s.

Friday’s high only will reach the mid 50s.

The weather service says freezing temperatures are likely Friday night north of the Interstate 80 corridor and likely area-wide Saturday night.

 Dress accordingly.
