National Alliance on Mental Illness Greater Mississippi Valley offers free training for those living with a serious mental health condition, and their family members, on how to advocate by telling personal stories.

NAMI Smarts for Advocacy Advocacy training will be 9 a.m. to3 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at the Center for Active Seniors Inc., 1035 W. Kimberly Road, Davenport. There is no charge and lunch is provided. Register by Tuesday at 563-386-7477 ext. 266 or email at coordinator@namigmv.org.
