A video about Rock Island’s public-private partnerships will be featured next week at a conference of the International City/County Management Association. The conference will be Oct. 7-12 in Phoenix.

Rock Island’s public-private partnerships have leveraged millions of dollars in improvements in the community, according to a news release issued by the city. Rock Island works with the nonprofit organization Renaissance Rock Island and others on numerous developments. Areas that are highlighted include downtown, New Old Chicago Neighborhood and the Interstate 280-Illinois 92 corridor development area.

City Manager Thomas Thomas will attend the conference. The video can be viewed at www.rigov.org.
