The Salvation Army is in need of volunteers to operate the organization’s Angel Tree tables during the holiday season. The annual Angel Tree program provides new toys for about 3,000 children whose families are having a hard time adding gifts to their budget.

On Black Friday, Macerich Malls, owner of NorthPark and SouthPark malls, will partner with The Salvation Army to collect new, unwrapped toys inside the malls at the Angel Trees. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday. To sign up, visit ringbells.org.

Paper angel tags listing the age, gender and toy ideas are available at these locations: Younkers Court at SouthPark Mall, Moline, and JC Penney Court at NorthPark Mall, Davenport.
