The SCC BASH 2014, hosted by the Scott Community College Foundation, will be 5-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, at the Quad-Cities Waterfront Convention Center. The annual event raises support for student scholarships and college programming.
Guests will enjoy food prepared by the college’s Culinary Arts students. Four food stations will feature dishes inspired by the journey of music up the Mississippi River. There will be a station for New Orleans, Memphis, St. Louis and Chicago. For dessert, the students will serve Mississippi Mud Pie.
The evening also will include a musical performance by Ellis Kell, a silent auction and a live auction.
