Pat Oster, Laura Ingalls Wilder enthusiast, will share pioneer stories and activities at 10 a.m. Friday at the Scott County Library in Eldridge Children will be able to dress up like the characters from Wilder’s famous books, try some food from that time and make pioneer crafts. 

Oster will return to the library at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 18 to present and share artifacts from the “Little House on the Prairie” author. “These events are great ways for the community to celebrate the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder during the month of her birthday,” Christine Garrow, youth librarian, said.
