A good Tuesday, Quad-Cities. It's 36 degrees in the Quad-Cities under fair skies. Today will be unseasonably cool and, yes, wet.

The National Weather Service is calling for a 30 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m. with a high near 54 degrees.

Winds will be from the north at 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight isolated showers, then scattered showers and thunderstorms after  11 p.m. are possible. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a low around 42 degrees.

Several areas in the region are under a flood warning.

In DeWitt, the Wapsipinicon River is at 10.82 feet this morning. Flood stage is 11 feet. The river is expected to rise above flood stage today and crest at 11.5 feet Sunday.

In the Quad-Cities, the Mississippi River is at 14.15 feet and rising. Flood Stage is 15 feet. The river is expected to rise above flood stage on Thursday and crest at 15.6 feet Saturday night.

In Moline, the Rock River is 11.86 feet and is expected to crest today at 12 feet. Flood stage is 12 feet.
