Top of the morning to all in the Quad-Cities. You’re waking up to 13 degrees and overcast skies. It’s a tad warmer today than earlier this week.

The National Weather Service calls for a 40 percent chance of snow before noon, then a chance for flurries. Total daytime snow accumulation is expected to be less than a half inch.

It will be mostly cloudy with a high near 26 degrees. South wind 5 to 10 mph will become northwest in the afternoon.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 2 degrees with wind chill values as low as -15 degrees. North wind could gust as high as 25 mph.
