Top of the morning to all in the Quad-Cities. You’re waking up to 33 degrees and fair skies.

Enjoy the sun while you can. Because rain, falling temps and snow are on the horizon.

Then comes the rain. Thursday’s forecast calls for the rain to begin in the afternoon and the 80 percent chance of precipitation will continue into the night. The high will be around 40 degrees while the low will be 39 degrees.

More rain is expected early Friday with patchy fog until early afternoon.

Rain turns to snow come Saturday night with falling temps.
