A good morning, Quad-Cities. You’re waking up to 32 degrees and fair skies.

Here’s your National Weather Service forecast for Good Friday and the weekend.

Today will be sunny with a high near 56 degrees — not a bad day to hit the golf course. And speaking of golf courses, Duck Creek Golf Course opens for the season today.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 36 degrees.

Saturday showers are likely with possibly a thunderstorm after 1 p.m. which could put a damper on some Easter egg hunts. The day will be mostly cloudy with a high near 57 degrees. Winds will be from the south with winds gusting as high as 25 mph.

Saturday night brings the possibility of more showers before 1 a.m. with an overnight low of around 37 degrees.

Easter Sunday will be partly sunny with a high near 55 degrees and a low around 26 degrees. There’s a chance of overnight rain and/or snow but hopefully we’ll sleep through it.

For those able to get out and do some yard work, Davenport is offering free yard waste pickup for the next two weeks.

Have a good one.
