CLINTON — A 29-year-old Clinton man was identified Monday as the victim of a fatal train accident Friday.

Thomas “T.J.” Green was identified by the Pape Funeral Home, which is handling arrangements. Clinton police said they responded about 6:45 p.m. to the area of the 30th Avenue North boat ramp and the railroad tracks, where they found a person who had been struck by a train.

Authorities said the case was under investigation by the Clinton Police Department and the county medical examiner’s office.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Pape Funeral Home. The funeral is Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.

No further information about the investigation was released Monday by police.
