In recognition of Black History Month, the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium in Dubuque will host an exhibit on the Underground Railroad. “Riding the Freedom Train: The Underground Railroad in Iowa” is on short-term loan through the African American Museum of Iowa. The three-panel exhibit will take visitors across Iowa, following the most common Underground Railroad routes and telling stories about safe houses, communities and brave individuals who took their life in their hands on a journey to freedom. The exhibit is open through Feb. 5. Regular admission rates apply.
