United Way of the Quad-Cities Area will announce Wednesday whether it made it to its $8.85 million goal for the 2013 workplace fundraising campaign.
The announcement will be at 1:45 p.m. at Hand-in-Hand, 3860 Middle Road, Bettendorf.
The workplace campaign helps to further United Way's partner agencies' common goals of making sure Quad-City families have the resources they need to be financially stable, that every student graduates and that the community is healthy.
Last year's contributions of about $8.5 million had an impact of more than $20 million on the community, organizers say.
