Katie Pratt, Dixon, Ill, has been selected as one of nine finalists for the “Faces of Farming and Ranching” for the U.S. Farmers & Ranchers Alliance.

If she’s chosen, Pratt will help lead national discussions about farming and food in 2013.

Illinois residents can learn more about Pratt and help her become one of the “Faces of Farming & Ranching” by voting online at www.FoodDialogues.com through Dec. 15. Winners will share their stories on a national stage through media interviews, public appearances and events and advertising campaigns.

Pratt and her husband, Andy, a seventh generation farmer, raise soybeans, corn and seed corn in Lee County near Dixon.
