Allie Lancaster has been hired as the new 4-H Program Coordinator for the University of Illinois Extension office of Whiteside County.

Lancaster has been involved with the University of Illinois Extension as an Americorps volunteer for the Rock Island County Office, where she worked as an intern. She developed 4-H Special Interest (SPIN) clubs throughout the year and helped market the programs 4-H has to offer. She also was a judge in visual arts for the Rock Island County Fair.

She graduated from Augustana College, Rock Island, with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing and a minor in art. She also has been a marketing and event planning intern at the Quad-City Botanical Center and an intern at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.
