Andrea Anderson, a senior at Iowa School for the Deaf in Council Bluffs, was crowned homecoming princess at the school’s pep rally on Oct. 5.

Anderson, a native of Davenport, has been involved with volleyball, cheerleading and bowling as well as in the school’s Junior National Association of the Deaf chapter.

After graduation, she plans to enroll into Iowa School for the Deaf’s post-high school to work program.
