Paige Halpin, a 2009 graduate of Monmouth College, has returned to her alma mater to take the new position of associate director of development in the Chicago area.

Halpin will manage relationships with about 125 prospective donors and will focus primarily on identifying, cultivating and stewarding gifts of $5,000 and above.

In 2008, Halpin was chosen as Monmouth’s Student Laureate of The Lincoln Academy of Illinois, an honor that included in its duties speaking to her fellow graduates at the 2009 commencement ceremony. The English major and Alpha Xi Delta member was also honored as the Freshman Female of the Year and the Greek Woman of the Year and served as president of both the Associated Students of Monmouth College and Panhellenic Council.

Her other campus activities included serving as a Scot Ambassador, dormitory head resident, member of the president’s advisory committee and student chaplain.
