Two Quad-City area students have been offered appointments to military service academies, Rep. Bruce Braley, D-Iowa, has announced.

Samuel Wolf received an offer of appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy. Samuel is a senior at Camanche High School, and his parents are Margaret Wolf and Michael Wolf. His extracurricular activities include varsity cross country, vice president of the Key Club, president of the Thespian Society Troupe 452 and marching band. He is also the class representative for the Camanche Student Council.

Dylan Beyl received an offer of appointment from the U.S. Air Force Academy. Dylan is a senior at Davenport North High School. His parents are Bonnie and Randall Beyhl and his extracurricular activities include section leader in the Jazz Band, team captain varsity football, captain of the Science Bowl Team and drumline captain of the marching band. He is also secretary of the National Honor Society at North.
