Sharon Sarver has been promoted to the position of director of development for Family Resources. Sarver is a 16-year veteran of Family Resources, joining the nonprofit organization in 1996.

As director of development, she will work with donors, community leaders, businesses and granting organizations to develop financial support and estate gifts for the organization’s annual fund, special projects and endowment.

Family Resources offers a wide variety of services to children, women and families throughout the Quad-Cities and Eastern Iowa, including Muscatine, Dubuque, Clinton, and Burlington. Services include

24-hour care for young people, education, child welfare emergency services, family restoration, mental health services, rape/sexual assault counseling and advocacy and domestic violence shelters.  The organization has almost 300 employees and touches the lives of about 35,000 people each year.
