Janet Stodd of Moline has been chosen by audition to perform with the Professional Flute Choir at the 2014 National Flute Association Convention in Chicago.

The flute choir, conducted by Clyde Mitchell, will present a concert at 10 a.m. Sunday in the Continental Ballroom of the Hilton Chicago hotel.

Stodd is the flute instructor at Augustana College, Rock Island, and St. Ambrose University, Davenport. She plays piccolo in the Quad-City Symphony Orchestra. She also will conduct a flute choir reading session at the NFA Convention.
