The National Weather Service is forecasting scattered flurries before noon, then gradually becoming mostly sunny with a high near 16 degrees. Unfortunately wind chill values will dip as low as -15 degrees. The wind will continue throughout the day gusting as high as 35 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear and blustery with a low around 3 degrees and wind chill values as low as -10.
A winter storm is making its way to the Quad-Cities later this week. Stay tuned for more information.
Looking ahead, we’re on the downhill side of the shortest month of the year, with the first day of Spring about four weeks away.
Hang in there.
