Western Illinois University-Quad-City Campus, Moline, will host “The State of Our Democracy,” an event focusing on state issues and their local impact.
Panelists will include Moline Mayor Stephanie Acri, and Rock Island Alderman Dylan Parker, 5th Ward.
Featured speaker will be Abe Scarr, director of the Illinois Public Interest Research Group, or PIRG.
The event is free and open to the public. It will be held at 5 p.m. Monday in the Riverfront Hall rooms 103 and 104. Western Illinois University is located at 3300 River Drive, Moline.
