As part of the centenary observance of the end of World War I, the Davenport Public Library will host a series of lectures discussing pivotal events of the “War to End All Wars.”
The first in the series, “The Zimmerman Telegram and the U.S. Entry into the War,” will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the Eastern branch, 6000 Eastern Ave. The event is free and open to the public.
