A 2-year-old child was among the three injured Thursday when a Davenport CitiBus collided with a car and crashed into a house.

The 2-year-old was secured in a forward-facing safety seat in the backseat of a Ford Fusion. The car was going eastbound on East Locust Street when it collided with the bus as it turned left from the westbound lanes of Locust onto Grand Avenue, Davenport Police Capt. Paul Sikorski said Friday.

The bus then struck a house at 1825 Grand about 3:53 p.m.

The child and the driver of the car as well as the driver of the bus were all transported to Genesis Medical Center-East Rusholme Street, Davenport, for treatment of minor injuries, Sikorski said.

The crash is being investigated by the Davenport Police Department's Crash Unit. Sikorski said evidence still is being reviewed and charges are pending.
