David Burke

David Burke has covered arts and entertainment for the Quad-City Times since November 1999, after 8 1/2 years with the Herald & Review, the Lee Enterprises newspaper in Decatur, Ill. A Kansas native, his accomplishments including being chosen as a fellow in the National Endowment for the Arts Institute in Theatre and Musical Theatre in Los Angeles during 2007 and finishing in second place in the “Ultimate Fan Search” game show on cable's TV Land  during 2000. He also emcees the Times monthly trivia nights, which benefit Newspapers in Education.
