Dear Governor Romney, I must say that, as someone who is familiar with Paul Ryan’s positions, I was very encouraged that you chose him to be your running mate. In my mind, this choice signaled a willingness to put the good of the country ahead of winning at any cost. Americans so need someone to fight for our economic future. There are many of us who believe that Mr. Obama is so clueless about how the economy is driven that his election could truly condemn us to a very bleak future. Please fight for fiscal responsibility.

Also, please use this election opportunity to educate the people of the United States about economics. Democrats have, for too long, been successful in portraying financially successful persons as somehow attaining their wealth through underhanded and unfair means. I believe this strategy should be called the “Politics of Envy” rather than class warfare. Democrats truly count on human nature to create envy and resentment toward anyone who has wealth. Perhaps the point could be made by simply asking someone who uses the catch phrase, “tax cuts for the rich." What do they think this world would look like if they are successful in getting rid of all those dirty, rotten, greedy, stingy rich people?

Or, the question could be asked, when did anyone get hired by a poor person? Thank you for the opportunity to vent.
