A wall/fence on the U.S. border would help prevent illegal smugglers transporting undocumented people into this country, putting them into semi-trailers only to be left to die in a hot shopping center parking lot.

This is not humane and not acceptable to the American people. Legal and safe immigration is what this country is supposed to be about. We have immigration laws on the books, but without enforcing them, tragic deaths of exploited people will continue.

Will any wall or fence keep out all illegal activities, including drug trafficking? No, but it would greatly reduce the undocumented immigrants and illegal drugs flowing into this country.

For the people that live in sanctuary cities and think they are doing undocumented immigrants a favor, think twice. Many innocent people, including women and children, die walking in a hot terrain on our southern border. Convicted criminals also cross the border and commit homicides and assaults to innocent citizens in this country.

This is not what America stands for; the humane thing to do is enforce the laws we already have. A wall/fence will decrease illegal trafficking and innocent deaths.
