The other day there was a letter to the editor complaining about poor service from a newspaper delivery person. Here in Eldridge, the opposite is true. We have a wonderful delivery person.
Our newspaper arrives around 4 a.m. every morning. The newspaper is delivered where we want it and we don’t have to dig in bushes or snow to find it. We conveyed our thanks to him in a Christmas card, but thought it appropriate to share it with others.
There are still many people in this world willing to do a good job all the time, and that leaves hope for our society.
