With Republicans in control of the entire state legislature, Iowa is quickly turning into a cowardly state. On Mar. 7, the Iowa House voted to make it legal to shoot someone just because you're nervous, even if they're unarmed.

I can't think of a more disastrous, cowardly law. Right now, Iowa has a low rate of gun deaths compared to states that have this law, but after it passes, that will change.

Anyone who would vote for this is either blinded by ideology or so greedy he's willing to up the number of gun deaths in our state just to keep his campaign money from billionaire political industrialists, the Charles and David Koch brothers. Either way, it's pathetic.
