SPRINGFIELD — The Illinois Senate signed off Thursday on five appointments to the Southern Illinois University Board of Trustees.

With the Senate’s confirmation of Gov. Pat Quinn’s appointments, the board is now at full membership.

Donald Lowery of Golconda replaces former Board Chairman Roger Tedrick, who resigned. Lowery is a retired circuit court judge and former Massac County state’s attorney.

Roger Herrin of Harrisburg replaces Bill Bonan II, whose term expired. Herrin is president of RDK Management Services, which operates three long-term care facilities in Southern Illinois.

Mark Hinrichs of O’Fallon replaces the late Keith Sanders. Hinrichs is president of Fairview Heights-based IMPACT Strategies Inc., a construction services firm.

Donna Manering of Makanda is a retired educator with experience as a teacher, school administrator and teachers’ union representative. Manering replaces Steve Wiggington, who resigned.

Marquita Wiley of Belleville was reappointed. She has been a trustee since 2005.
