CLINTON, Iowa — The pool will go to the dogs when Animal Birth Control Inc. in Clinton hosts its third annual Bow Wow Luau fundraiser from 5-7:30 p.m. Sunday at Riverview Park swimming pool in Clinton.

For $6 per dog, dogs will be allowed to swim in the pool with their owners and will receive a gift bag donated by Nestle Purina, said Pam Wisor, a board member for the organization.

Dog owners and spectators will be admitted free.

Wisor said the money will be used to fund Animal Birth Control’s efforts to spay and neuter local pets.
