I have had the pleasure to know Lisa Brown through her years of public service that have proven to be a treasure to the city of Bettendorf and its citizens.

Lisa Brown was a grassroots candidate who, while raising her family and working as the dean of students at Scott Community College, found time to organize a neighborhood to raise money, purchase playground equipment and install a public park in her neighborhood, Friendship Park.

Shortly thereafter, she was encouraged by many citizens to run for a position on the Park Board where she served for four terms. Bettendorf’s Parks Department has won many awards and accolades for its innovative park programs, facilities and leading ideas.

While serving on the Bettendorf Parks and Recreation Board, a vacancy for alderman at-large arose and once again, due to her quality of service, Lisa Brown was encouraged by many citizens to run for the council seat.

Lisa has been an outstanding council member, a great advocate for Bettendorf development, and a concerned steward for quality of life issues for the citizens of Bettendorf.

Re-elect Lisa Brown – Lisa listens, Lisa cares, and Lisa serves you.
