In a recent op-ed, professor Loren Glass, of the University of Iowa, was given space to share how the Bible could be taught in public schools. The headline caught my eye and I decided to read on to see how the professor might explain his teaching ideas.

From being briefly thoughtful, it quickly turned into a personal diatribe against President Trump and how he violates every one of the Ten Commandments and the teachings of Christ. The professor can hold those personal beliefs, but is it his role to insert into a thoughtful classroom? It is disheartening to say the least. No one can say they have not broken one or more of the commandments or fallen far short of Christ's teachings for our lives.
