On Dec. 10, my parents were taking a Sunday drive on Wolf Road towards Geneseo, Illinois at about 4 p.m. Unfortunately, a deer decided to cross the road in front of them and they hit it. Their car was totaled, but they were thankfully not hurt.
The man driving behind them stopped, made sure they were OK, and called the police and a tow truck. He waited with them until the police arrived. My parents and our whole family want to say "thank you." They didn't get your name, but I hate to think what would have happened if you had not stopped. Your kindness was so appreciated.
