Donald Trump’s continually reprehensible words and actions during his first year in office, as well as during his campaign, do not represent the true spirit of peace, love, fairness and goodwill of any holiday, particularly Christmas.

Mr. Trump issued disgustingly shameful remarks after the Charlottesville, Virginia, protests that there were fine people on all sides of the issue, thus legitimizing hate-driven and evil, white nationalists, Ku Klux Klan and neo-Nazis groups. And this man pretends to care about Christmas and the holidays?

A man who dishonors and mocks disabled American citizens and American veterans, including U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, pretends to care about fairness and decency at this special time of the year?

A man who dishonors women’s and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning (LGBTQ) rights, while supporting an atrocious and untrustworthy candidate for the Senate, falsely believes in what’s right for our great country?

Additionally, throughout 2017 and during this holiday season, on important international, immigration, national monuments protection, crucial environmental and free speech/First Amendment issues, Trump’s words and actions lack compassion, honesty, sanity and humanity.

Trump’s boasting about his debatable financial gains and tax bill as a Christmas present primarily for the wealthy and big business, while hurting his struggling bamboozled base supporters and other middle/lower-class Americans, is disingenuous, especially at this time of the year.

Donald Trump needs to get into the true spirit of the season and stop having just moneybags for his heart and soul and tinsel for his brain.
