EVERETT, Wash. (AP) -- Greifer Andrade hit a run-scoring double in the second inning, leading the Everett AquaSox to a 6-3 win over the Hillsboro Hops on Sunday.

The double by Andrade started the scoring in a three-run inning and gave the AquaSox a 1-0 lead. Later in the inning, Jonas Lantigua hit an RBI double and then scored on a single by Osmy Gregorio.

After Everett added three runs in the third, the Hops cut into the deficit in the fourth inning when Cole Thompson hit a three-run double.

Everett starter Andres Torres (1-0) picked up the win despite allowing three runs and six hits over five innings. Opposing starter Connor Grey (0-1) took the loss in the Northwest League game after giving up six runs and seven hits over 2 2/3 innings. David Ellingson retired the side in order for his second save of the season.
