The first home runs of the season for Anthony Jimenez and Conner Hale weren't enough Tuesday for Clinton in a 9-5 Midwest League loss to Wisconsin at Ashford University Field.
The Timber Rattlers' Monte Harrison broke a 5-5 tie with a two-run double in the top of the seventh and Mario Feliciano followed with a two-run double an inning later to complete Wisconsin's 10-hit game.
The rally came after Jimenez swatted a three-run blast in the second to give the LumberKings a 4-2 advantage. Solo shots by the Timber Rattlers' Demi Orimoloye and Tucker Neuhaus in the top of the third evened the score.
Hale opened the Clinton fourth with a homer as Clinton regained a 5-4 lead before Wisconsin rallied, tying the game on a run-scoring groundout by Ryan Aguilar in the sixth and moving ahead to stay in the seventh.
