BURLINGTON, Iowa — Clinton made quick work of Burlington in its final game of the Midwest League season, needing just 1 hour, 47 minutes to earn a 1-0 victory at Community Field.

The LumberKings scored the game's lone run in the top of the first inning when Gareth Morgan led off with a single, stole second and advanced to third on a throwing error before scoring on a single to right by Nick Zammarelli.

Nick Wells earned the win for Clinton, striking out one batters and scattering four hits over a six-inning start. Michael Koval and Seth Elledge, earning his fifth save, allowed three hits over the final three innings of the LumberKings' 64-72 season.
