Clinton jumped on the Bees for four runs in the first and three in the second to take the series opener for its fourth straight win. Conner Hale and Yojhan Quevedo drove in two runs apiece and Dimas Ojeda had three hits for the LumberKings.

Brandon Miller and Ronald Dominguez had things under control on the mound, combining for the shutout. Miller (1-1) allowed just three hits and struck out five, while Dominguez pitched three hitless innings for the save, striking out one and walking two.
