A record-setting Sunday has led to Midwest League player of the week honors for Quad-Cities River Bandits third baseman Tyler Rahmatulla.

A 34th-round selection of the Cardinals in 2011 from UCLA, Rahmatulla matched a league record with six hits in a game at Burlington.

Rahmatulla drove home seven runs during a 6-for-6 performance against the Bees that included two doubles and two triples.

Rahmatulla hit .417 for the week, going 10-for-24 in six games for Quad-Cities. He is currently batting .327 for the River Bandits.
