DUNEDIN, Fla. (AP) -- Max Pentecost hit a run-scoring single in the third inning, leading the Dunedin Blue Jays to a 7-1 win over the Charlotte Stone Crabs on Thursday.

The single by Pentecost capped a two-run inning and gave the Blue Jays a 2-1 lead after Troy Tulowitzki hit an RBI single earlier in the inning.

The Blue Jays later added two runs in the sixth and three in the eighth. In the sixth, Cavan Biggio drew a bases-loaded walk, scoring Josh Almonte, while Andrew Guillotte hit an RBI single and Guillotte scored on a wild pitch and Kevin Vicuna scored on a single in the eighth.

Dunedin left-hander Ryan Borucki (1-1) picked up the win after allowing one run on six hits over 5 1/3 innings. Opposing starter Genesis Cabrera (3-4) took the loss in the Florida State League game after allowing four runs and six hits over 5 2/3 innings.

Brandon Lowe doubled twice and singled for the Stone Crabs.

With the win, Dunedin improved to 5-2 against Charlotte this season.
