STORYLINES

• This is a first-round game in the Big Ten Tournament with the winner slated to play No. 2 seed Wisconsin at 5:30 p.m. Friday. Iowa has lost its first game in the event three years in a row and has not advanced beyond the quarterfinals since winning the tournament title in 2006.

• Seventh-seeded Iowa has won four straight games, a streak that began with a 96-90 overtime victory over Indiana in Iowa City. Peter Jok scored 35 points in that game and set an Iowa record by making 22 of 23 free throw attempts. He scored 15 of the 35 in overtime.

• Indiana has won two of its three games since losing to Iowa and closed the regular season with a 96-92 victory over Ohio State. The backcourt trio of Robert Johnson (26), James Blackmon Jr. (22) and Josh Newkirk (18) combined for 66 points in that game.
