Black Hawk placed four players in double figures but couldn't quite keep up with Moraine Valley in an 85-77 Region IV quarterfinal loss.
The Braves, who finish the season 12-19, were led by Larry Dixon's 19 points. Dixon accounted for four of the Braves' 11 3-pointers on the night.
Jake Pauley added 18 points and Connor Fuller and Blake Maris added 14 and 11, respectively.
Moraine Valley (19-12) was led by Deshawn Wilson with 22 points and Cortez King with 20.
Northern Iowa 76, Valparaiso 53: The Panthers built a 15-point lead by the end of the first quarter and cruised from there in a Missouri Valley Conference win over Valparaiso.
Kennedy Kirkpatrick led Northern Iowa (16-12, 12-5) with 15 points. Ellie Howell chipped in 11 and Megan Maahs compiled a double-double with both 13 points and 13 boards.
Bryce Blood led Valparaiso (12-16, 5-12) with 11 points off the bench. The Panthers' defense held the Crusaders to just 30.9 percent shooting from the field, including just 25 percent in the first half.
North Scott grad Karli Rucker scored four points and dished out two of the Panthers' 17 assists.
