Lincoln 85, Black Hawk 76: The Braves led the second-ranked team in the country by six at halftime Thursday but couldn't hold on for the win.

"We controlled the game for about 30 minutes, and we're getting close to getting over the hump," Black Hawk coach Darren Bizarri said. "We still have too many lapses, but we're making progress. Playing the schedule we play will pay dividends in the second half of the year."

Jacob Pauley led Black Hawk with 24 points and Connor Fuller finished with 17 points and nine rebounds.

The Braves used the 3 to stay in the game, hitting almost 47 percent of their 3-pointers on the night, including 53 percent in the first half.
