About the only changes on my ballot for this week's Associated Press college football poll are a byproduct of opening-weekend match-ups between rated teams.

Florida State and Florida were the only two teams from my preseason ballot to lose over the weekend - I wasn't driving the Texas hype train - and both lost to ranked opponents. I dropped the Seminoles six spots and the Gators seven following losses to top-rated Alabama and a Michigan team I moved from 16th to 13th this week.

Beyond that, it was a quiet opening weekend.

As has been the case the past several years, I will share my ballot with you on a weekly basis. Most weeks, it will appear online around midday Sunday at hawkmania.com and the ballot will appear in print in Monday's paper.
