Auburn Alabama Football

Auburn defensive back Javaris Davis, left, knocks the ball away from Alabama wide receiver Calvin Ridley during the Iron Bowl on Saturday in Auburn, Ala.

Thanks to Auburn and Pittsburgh, there's a new look at the top of this week's Associated Press college football poll.

The losses by Alabama and Miami (Fla.), the top teams on my ballot a week ago, provided me with the chance to reshape things on the upper end of the ballot for the AP poll which will be released later this afternoon.

I moved Clemson into the top spot in front of Wisconsin, for now, with Oklahoma, Auburn and Ohio State rounding out my top five for this week.

I gave the edge to the Tigers based on their strength of schedule over the course of the season. The Badgers, who join Central Florida as the only FBS unbeatens, will get another test this week against Ohio State in the Big Ten title game.

Results there could, and in the ACC title game, will have an impact as I sort things out next Sunday.

I have Georgia, Alabama, Penn State, Miami and UCF rounding out my top 10.

No team on my ballot is in the same spot as it was a week ago and with losses four of my final six from last week things continue to be very fluid on in the bottom spots on my ballot.

Virginia Tech, North Carolina State and 10-win Toledo return this week.

Here is my ballot for this week's AP poll:
