The Iowa women's basketball team got right to business in avenging a loss at Illinois earlier this season.
The Hawkeyes jumped out to a 25-10 lead after the first quarter and cruised to a 78-58 victory over Illinois at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Megan Gustafson scored 20 points and grabbed 15 rebounds and Kathleen Doyle added 18 points to lead the Hawkeyes (11-6, 2-2 Big Ten), who shot 45.9 percent and outrebounded Illinois 45-29.

Alex Wittinger scored 17 points for Illinois (7-10, 2-2), which knocked off Iowa in the Big Ten opener in Champaign.
