Jamere Dismukes and Keelan Prince scored 15 points apiece, but it wasn't enough as host Black Hawk lost 64-55 to No. 2-ranked South Suburban on Saturday.

Black Hawk, which trailed 27-24 at the half, fell to 6-16 on the season. South Suburban improved to 22-1.


Black Hawk 61, South Suburban 57: Black Hawk overcame a 38-26 halftime deficit to beat its second NJCAA ranked team this week.

Christa Oldham scored 16 points against the 13th-ranked team in the nation, and Kelly Hornick and Ella Teel added 13 and 12 points, respectively, for Black Hawk (13-10).

Augustana 67, North Central 55: Molly Etheridge scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds Saturday as the Augustana women's basketball team ended a seven-game losing streak with a 67-55 CCIW at North Central.

The Vikings (10-11, 2-8 CCIW) led 35-29 at halftime and never trailed after a jumper by Natalie Runge gave Augustana an 8-6 lead 5 minutes into the first half.

Gianna Pecora and Runge each finished with 12 points for the Vikings, who connected on 7-of-15 3-point shots.
